Mascots are one thing that I’ve never really understood. Not many people knew who Tim McKernan was. But only a fool hasn’t heard of McKernan’s alter-ego the Denver Bronco’s fanatic, the Barrel Man. Well some sad news happened a weekend ago for sports fans everywhere. McKernan, the first fan ever inducted into the NFL Fans Hall of Fame, passed away at the age of 69. This Is Not The Liverpool We Know

Liverpool’s woes seem to be getting worse with every game they play. Last night’s Champions league match against Fiorentina only compounded Rafael Benitez’s problems. Liverpool lost 2-1 at home to a Fiorentina side that has really impressed this season. On Monday FIFA revealed the final list of 5 players for both the men and women nominees who will battle it out for the coveted FIFA world player of the year award.
